Download NivoSlider Module

hi guys
I am dedicated at helping you with all the problems i face so that you can fix them.
After installing the Nivo Slider on joomla 1.7 i got this error JFolder: :delete: Could not delete folder. Path: C:\xampp\htdocs\thinker\tmp\install_4eddc62dca2fe\mod_inivoslider although the module said successfully installed.
Usually this problem appears on a live server and this is a permission issue or a wrong setup of FTP user.
On localhost you don’t have to deal with permissions, so I suggest you to deactivate the local FTP in the: Global Configuration > Server Tab > FTP Settings > Enable FTP > NO
Reinstall the module.
please email the download link for the Joomla 1.7 Slideshow Module. ty
Please download the module by clicking on Download NivoSlider Module
Beautiful looking templates – one thing, prehaps the slider should be able to link through to sections or urls.
Seems a pity they have no interaction.
We will consider adding this feature to the slider module.
Hi, great module! One problem – for some reason on my site it keeps randomizing the images! I’ve pointed it to a folder with files labelled 1,2,3,4,5 but it won’t display in that order. Is there a simple option I’ve overlooked?
Thanks1
We will check out what the problem is, and will update the modules as soon as possible. Thanks for telling us about this issue.
it is randomizing my images how do i change that I need them to go in order only
Hi, I would like that random futere also, but do’nt how to get it done?
You want to display image randomly?
Yes please!
Thnx in advance
Hi
It is indeed wonderful module , thanks for sharing. I’ve 1 question, is it compatible with joomla 2.5 ?
Thanks
Yes, the module is also compatible with version 2.5
Thank you for this great module.
But unfortunately the Alternative Layout doesn’t work for me in Joomla 2.5.1. I can’t select the different layouts.
Overal good job Developer
Hello, there is NO alternative layout developed yet for the module. You will develop that soon, but until that you will have to use the module as it is.
With the slider the pics don’t fit the frames and they go over the edges, or bunch up in the upper left corner. Is there an option I need to mess with? Or what size do the pics need to be to fit the ‘default’ frame?
The module do not have a fixed width or height, you can choose what picture size you want to display. Please consider that templates have a fixed width, and you have to adjust the picture sizes to that. First of all you have to find how wide your template is. Are you using one of our templates?
Hi,
I tried on modifying the width and height of the image but wont do anything.
The module allows you to modify the image size, but maybe the module width of the template is fixed. What template are you using?

Hi,
Followed install instructions but cannot get mod to show on pages… checked image path and that mod published but all good… how do I get this to work?
What module position did you choose for publishing it? Is your module published? Is your module shown on any page?
i can’t select an image folder path…my only option is ‘dreamworkgallery’…where should i create this folder in the directory or do i need to override the .php file? i have been waiting for a module like this forever and would be stoked to get it to work…thanks for the input
You have to place your folders with the slideshow images in the folder /images
The module can only read image folders from this directory.
You probably have only the /images/dreamworkgallery folder created, this is why the module shows only one folder.
Hey … John Connelly is on the happy side… I see no folders in that dropdown …
I have all my forders r-w, I have updated joomla, I uninstalled the module and installed again, I deleted all the files of the module from server and then reinstalled and… still no folder in that dropdown.
I have a test site and there I see the folders from /images on the main site I don’t see the folders from /images. I have /images/slides … I can see them in media manager, i can delete them etc etc…
hmmm… done …
In the mod_invioslider.xml found :
name=”imageFolder” type=”folderlist” directory=”images/” filter=”" exclude=”" hide_none=”0″ hide_default=”1″ label=”Images Folder” description=”Please choose the folder where the images are located.” />
I have modified the “images/” to “/images” and now i “see” all the folders from /images…
Thx
Hello John. I have tried both versions and works fine for me. Maybe it is a server configuration issue, this is why on your site does not show the folders.
I have tested this on localhost and different configuration servers and worked fine for me.
Thank you for your tip, hope this will help other users that may have the same problem. Good luck building your site!
I have done all given intrucyions and i have changed the positions nad published it but is still doents work…help pleaase
Is the module assignment set to be shown on all pages or on homepage?
